Use the portrait and notebook together

Each wrong guess uncovers more of the scheduled portrait and adds a six-column comparison row. Role describes the character’s place in the story, age uses a broad life stage, and circle records a family, school, band, or friendship group. Hair and outfit are judged from the exact image used for that puzzle, while name only matches the final identity.

A strong first guess tests several useful categories at once. Keep the traits that match, deliberately change the ones that do not, and combine the name-length hint with the remaining possibilities after two misses. Later portrait stages are most useful for confirming details such as hairstyle and clothing.

Fresh daily scheduling and image-specific clues

Wimple’s launch answers are stored in an explicit date-ordered ledger, and the current scheduler keeps a character from returning inside a 45-day window. Completed puzzles stay playable in the archive without changing the current streak or worldwide result totals. When a familiar character returns, a separately reviewed alternate image can change the visual deduction.

The clue data is checked against the picture actually shown. If alternate artwork changes a visible hairstyle or outfit, that date receives a picture-specific adjustment instead of silently reusing a base label. Release checks cover the search preview, feedback row, winning row, source reference, and schedule so those parts agree.
